The unplaned surface keeps the saw texture and natural colour variation of the timber, and weathers into a garden rather than standing out against it. It costs less than the planed PAR version of the same panel, which makes it the practical choice for longer runs, back boundaries and anywhere the trellis will be behind planting within a season or two — where a panel is at eye level or will be handled, the PAR Diagonal Trellis is planed smooth on both faces. Six stock sizes are listed above, all at 100mm aperture. For a 25mm or 50mm aperture, or a size not listed, ask your nearest branch for a per-square-metre quote.
