The Pole Yard
Dear Mr Deane
This letter is to acknowledge the Pole Yard company for their donation to the Imhoff Waldorf School in the form of 2 x 2 poles of 2.50m and 2 poles of 4.20m for soccer posts and a pole of 3m for our Maypole dancing.
We are a Non-Profit organisation and we have a sponsorship programme which supports children from Masiphumelele and Ocean View to receive an education they could not otherwise have secured. We have recently been able to grow grass on a patch of field next to our Primary school and the children are keen to play soccer. So far they have had to make do with a smaller patch of earth, often dirty and muddy.
It is so exciting to be able to provide them with poles for soccer posts so they can finally play great soccer games.
We are very grateful for your gesture which will bring many hours of joy to the children at our school.
With kind regards
Laurence Tocreau

Sunbeam Nursery School
Dear James
This letter is greatly overdue!
Thank you so much for all the help and advice you have given Sunbeam Nursery School in the past. When I was at my wits end about our School's entrance looking so bare and uninteresting, you came up the fantastic idea of the chips of bark, the outside little table and a little bench. What a change it made! The entrance to our school now looks inviting to both visitors as well as to our little pupils who are very discerning about where they have their little pretend 'Tea Parties' or picnics.
I also want to mention the excellent work you have done in so many places at our school: the ingenious way you fixed the inside of the dressing up Wendy house with poles so that the children could reach the hanging rail for their dress up clothes has worked so well! The Monkey Bars that you transferred, renewed and strengthened with good solid wood was a great relief to us, since safety is extremely important to us all. You also did a marvelous job on the outside jungle gym, replacing wooden beams, adding safety barriers ect. Thank you too for the thorough way in which you examine, test and prescribe what we need to increase and improve our equipment. The fantastic shaded area you added to our youngest children's classroom has been an absolute life saver in this incredible hear that we have experienced. We are able to put tables and chairs out under the shade cloth and the painting easel too, so that the little ones can enjoy doing their activities outside in the fresh air. (I must say that this is one of my most favoured places as it gives the feeling of organized fun outside).
As I am writing this letter, I am amazed at how many places in the school your POLEYARD has touched - the roof of the Storage Shed, the fencing around the Wendy House and the shaded area, the fishing boat, the Shaded Roof of the sandpit, the slides on the jungle gyms (What a good idea it was to put two slides adjacent to each other so little friends can slide together!).
Well James, what started out being a little letter of appreciation to YOU and POLEYARD, has turned out to be a mammoth epistle of good news for builders and home improvers (and School improvers) everywhere!
THANK YOU AGAIN JAMES! THANK YOU AGAIN POLEYARD! I HOPE YOU HAVE MANY MORE YEARS OF GREAT SUCCESS IN HELPING THOSE IN NEED!!
Kind Regards,
May Raphael (Owner/Principal 0824369559)

KONTIKI POLES
Each year our guide company takes part in the Kontiki competition at Sandvlei. This is a wonderful, exciting opportunity for our girls, but a really expensive “adventure” for their parents.
Thank you so much for easing that burden a little this year by lending us 6 poles which were invaluable in forming the structure of our raft, which received a Class A sea worthy certificate!!
Thank you ever so much for your support.

Lavender in Lavender Hill Nursery
Dear Pole Yard
Thank you so much for your donation of 22 poles for the construction of the second nursery of the Lavender in Lavender Hill Project. As our first nursery is full to the brim, a second nursery enables us to uplifting the community of Lavender Hill more by growing more plants and employing more community members. These plants will be planted into the open spaces in Lavender Hill to create a beautiful urban lavender farm and to uplift and beautify the lavender hill community.
I have put a link to our facebook page linking us and Pole Yard and our next newsletter which goes out to our entire database will have a large thank you in it as well.
Thank you again.

2nd Bergvliet winning with Poleyard
Dear Leeroy,
Many thanks for your assistance - the photos show our three patrols using the poles during the competition to build their campsites, and our troop celebrating 1st place.
We wouldn't have been able to win this year's attempt without you and the Poleyard helping us out!
Cheers,
Peter.

A Rocha - Stellenbosch
Dear Mr Leeroy Deane
Vuya Endaweni Community Conservation Group would like to thank you for the 10 treated 2,4m poles that you so kindly donated to Siyavuya Creche in Enkanini Informal Settlement.
As you are aware, Vuya Endaweni Community Conservation Group is part of A Rocha South Africa, an international Christian organisation that focuses on conservation through community upliftment. Siyavuya Creche is one of the organisation’s community upliftment projects. After the fire in Enkanini, we lost a wendy house and the fencing posts. These poles will be used to secure new fencing for the children’s playground. Your generosity is much appreciated.
Yours faithfully

Dear Leeroy,
Thank you for making our residents a far happier and more excited group of people than we have seen in a while!
Curiosity and stimulation is excellent to beat boredom and the swings have certainly achieved that! At the same time, they provide an alternative leisure activity and are very welcome indeed.
Again, from all of us at HGH, thank you for your generosity.

Foundation Phase Head and Activity
To whom it may concern,
On behalf of the staff and learners at Sweet Valley Primary School, I should like to take the opportunity to thank you for the part you played in supplying the materials needed for the construction of our new Activity / Fitness circuit and for recommending Mr. Cliff Andrews to us. The circuit was completed at the end of the second school term, and the children have begun using it this week. It is proving so valuable in encouraging them to "get moving", and they are having so much fun!
We really appreciate your support, and look forward to future projects including the collaboration of the Pole Yard, Mr. Andrews and ourselves!
Yours sincerely,
Mrs. Jenni McMann

Kirstenhof Primary School
To the manager of Pole Yard
On behalf of the Grade 7 fundraising committee of Kirstenhof Primary School, we would like to say a big thank you for your kind loan of garden furniture. Our hall looked "stunning" and the furniture and bridge went a long way towards decorating the venue and ensuring that we had a strong "Western feel" to our evenings.
Thank you for your willingness to get involved in our barn dance.
Kind Regards

Living Hope Community Centre
Dear Leeroy,
On behalf of the Management and staff of Living Hope thank you ever so much for making a big flatbed truck available for our use on Friday afternoon, 19 June 2009. We were in a tight position and really were so grateful for your flexibility and your generous offer of a truck at such short notice.
Wilson, the driver of the truck was also very patient and understanding of our "not so efficient volunteer leaders".
Thanks so much Leeroy and we pray that you and your business will know the Lord's blessing and His provision in every way.
With our thanks and appreciation,
Avril Thomas
